Sunday, June 15, 2008 - Pizza Hut Honduras Style

We relax on Sunday, reading, talking. The kids escaping the heat in front of the television, playing their Nintendo DS, back to their electronic addictions. In the evening we take everyone to eat at Pizza Hut which just opened a few months ago here in Comayagua. Still a novelty, families come here for special occasions. There is a large play area for the kids, complete with a small soccer area. The walls are decorated with bright murals, latin music blaring from the speakers. We are a party of 14 ourselves and looking around there are several other large groups. (Our server tells us about their special that serves 12. They are obviously used to large groups). We order horchata, a rice drink popular here, three "gigante" pizzas and 2 orders of garlic bread. Pizza Honduran style.
